New yarns

Hi everyone,
New Noro Kirara is now here! Kirara is one of the latest additions to the Noro family. Kirara, a standard double knitting yarn, is a colour explosion in textiles with flecks throughout the wool which break up blocks of colour resulting in a softer, tweedy look to otherwise bold shades.

Made up of 51% wool with 29% cotton, with a luxurious addition of 10% silk and 10% Angora this yarn is something extra special!
As this is a standard Dk yarn it should work pretty well with a good many patterns but since it is so special I would personally opt for a Noro pattern, and a new book, Noro Passion includes a few juicy ideas to tantalise you....

also Zpaghetti is in. it is made from t-shirt wastes, so is quite literally like torn strips of t-shirts. resulting in one continuous strip. Ideal for a host of uses, DMC is selling it as a perfect starter yarn for crochet. used with a mega chunky crochet hook, this makes fantastic handbags for which we have free patterns but you could easily use this yarn for bath mats or even super open summer tops, comes in a cone! http://www.dmccreative.co.uk/Products/Crochet-Collection/Hoooked-Zpagetti/~/media/UK_images/New%20Pages/Z%20yarns/Z_yarns.ashx?mw=388

Hi,

New yarn has arrived for the Autumn ranges from both Sirdar and Wendy. First, Sirdar Montana DK, a wool rich Double Knit with bold blocks of colour. This yarn produces striking effects when knit up and is good for anyone as there are patterns for all ages in stock. An example of this Yarn can be found at this link F098-large.jpg

Next the Sirdar Faroe, Sirdar Faroe is a very chunky yarn with a tweedy look which knits up on 10mm pins. The Faroe patterns are simple and easy to knit and the Denim Ultra patterns will also fit the wool perfectly, so if you don't think any of the Faroe patterns suit you or a family members style, just take a look at the range of Denim Ultra patterns on offer. An example of Faroe can be found with this link F080-large.jpg

Wendy Celtic is the final new yarn for this post, Celtic is a wool rich chunky yarn with a slubby texture. It knits up with a Tweedy look to it. It is also lightweight so just 10 balls of the yarn will knit you a tweed style jumper. this Yarn is just the perfect choice for a man's jumper. An example of this yarn can be found here wceltic761.jpg

Thanks,

hi,
this is something new for us. We are trying to get into the 21st century before it finishes.
The aim of this is to offer folk a chance to find out what is really happening at Outback HQ.
Keeping up with a website is a nightmare and we apologise unreservedly for any mistakes in stock levels, shade numbers but not prices because we don't get enough time to update them either.

We are in the process, and nearly finished, our new website which should fix the majority of our shortcomings with stock control, better emailing and a clearer checkout system.
It should also be easier for us to bring the site up to date meaning anything new we can tell you about alot sooner.

We are looking forward to Autumn with the new Winter yarns with the most exciting changes coming through from Adriafil where they are bringing out some wacky stuff as well as the new Coyote yarn, an alpaca rich chunky with gentle phased shading as well as new colours in Baba, a fleecy yarn full of colour and life,

Debbie Bliss is bringing out a range called Blue Faced Leicester Aran, bred in Britain, spun and dyed in Yorkshire, the heart of the wool trade, as well Angel stripe, multicoloured mohair yarn which will brighten anyones Winter gloom

Rowan have brought out new shades in most of their ranges, as well as a few new ones including Tumble, a mega chunky yarn in breezy colours with a matted feel, but it still is light and soft. Lovely

Wendy brought out a couple of new ones, Celtic chunky, warm earthy tones which produce a tweedy look and Roam, a new sock yarn combining traditional shades with some amazing new shades. The socks it produces are warm and soft, with a free pattern included.
I better stop rattling on, otherwise you might get bored of reading.....
Thanks for spending time with us!
